Sustainable diet in sustainability

The idea of a sustainable diet was established in 2010. The individual perspective was merged with a global sustainability aspect. Sustainable development has three dimensions: people,​planet,​and profits. A sustainable diet is a great part of all three dimensions,​and it provides food and nutrition security for present and future generations while having a low environmental impact. We still do need a better plan on a global level,​but our individual choices bring a remarkable outcome.
