One recent major study involving 61,476 men and women aged>35 years lasted for six years,and they investigated red and processed meat consumption as cancer risk factors. Unfortunately,this experimental study linked high red meat consumption with breast and overall cancer risk. On the other hand,they didn't observe a link connecting red meat and processed meat consumption with prostate cancer risk, and more prospective studies came with the same conclusions.
